Source track record

An evidence-based measure of how a source's checked claims have held up, shown only after enough claims have been reviewed.

A source track record summarizes how a publisher's checked claims have held up against the evidence, for example "7 of 9 checked claims held up." It is shown only after at least three claims from that source have approved verdicts.

The track record rates a source's published claims, not the people behind it. It is not a judgment of anyone's honesty or motives. Its purpose is practical: a source that has already been shown wrong gets more scrutiny on its next claim, and a source with a strong record is still checked, because no source gets automatic trust.
